'Aankhon Ke Ishaare' is different from trending songs: Raahul Jatin

MUMBAI: Amid the many singers/composers, who have debuted in the world of Indian music, one more name has joined the list. He is none other than Jatin PanditÆs son, Raahul Jatin, whose debut with the single, Aankhon Ke Ishaare was melodious.

Speaking about his debut song, Raahul Jatin said, ôThe melody took about four days to compose and after that I roped in a few of my American friends, who are music producers and we punched in the groove. The video was a true learning experience; we shot it in one day. Tiring but genuinely exciting, I have done back flips, and cart wheel in the song.ö

ôDigital music is just not listening to a song, but its seeing as well. You have to be more than just a singer for the audience to connect with you. The song is also very different from the trending ones,ö he added.

On his sonÆs debut, Jatin Pandit stated, ôRaahul has been a very dedicated pupil from childhood. We never pushed him to take up music. It came to him as a calling. Once he decided, we ensured he observed discipline to cultivate a good voice quality. In this generation, music is served with a lot of frills but if a singerÆs voice quality is compromised, then the very foundation becomes weak. I was careful that Raahul should not get swayed by the distraction of glamour. The rest is totally his doing. There is a lot of competition out there and it is a tough profession that he has chosen. His talent and dedication will determine his future from here on.ö

Composed and sung by Raahul Jatin, Aankhon Ke Ishaare gets you to tap your feet instantaneously while the sublime melody of RaahulÆs voice rings in your ears even when the song is over. His composition is also bang on.  Further, the song is mixed and mastered by Eric Pillai, while its lyrics are penned by Kumaar.

Featuring Raahul and Simone, the refreshing video has an intimate dance, which is choreographed by Shazia and Piyush. RahulÆs vivacious energy, music, vocals and dance is a visually enthralling treat for the viewers.

A trained classical musician, Raahul shaped his musical skills under the shadow of his famous music director father. The talented youngster is has also taken formal training in Bollywood freestyle dancing from Shiamak Davar while he has learnt acting from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. Though considers himself as a performer, music remains the spinal cord of his offerings and he aspires for more.

RaahulÆs smooth and soulful vocals allow him to blend into different genres of music - from light classical to western music, from Bollywood songs to Pop music.

Meanwhile, Aankhon Ke Ishaare is presented by Zee Music Company and has released today. The music video has garnered over 20k views on YouTube.
