We have used desi instruments for 'Vaddi Sharaban': Vipin Patwa

MUMBAI: Music director Vipin Patwa has grabbed a larger share in the world of commercial music with his ambitious Bollywood project, De De Pyaar De. And to add to the celebration, his composed Punjabi number, Vaddi Sharaban, was released first.

“I feel proud for the trust invested by the makers of the film and Bhushan Kumarji. I am happy that they considered this song worthy to be released first. Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan are quite supportive and have a good sense of music,” says an excited Vipin, who claims to stand out for his desi touch.

He further says, “My work is a little desi and rustic. We have made use of Indian instruments, which people rarely use today.”

Patwa, who tries to do justice with his every song, speaks about Vaddi Sharaban, “Our main concern was to create the kind of song that has never released. We thought of its lines for some days. We thought of ‘Badi Sharaban’ but selected Vaddi Sharaban (which you will not find anywhere on Google) since it is a Punjabi wedding. The song is an original wedding number and I am sure people will dance to its tunes this wedding season.”

“It is written by Kumaar who is a sincere writer of India and has written many hit songs like Subah Hone Na De, Chittiya Kalaiyaan etc.,” says the music director about Kumaar.

The Punjabi vocals are credited to Sunidhi Chauhan and Navraj Hans, whose voice was spot on for the song.

On his experience of working with these versatile singers, Vipin exclaim, “The experience was good. We worked like friends. Navraj is a good singer, and voice has suited the song. Sunidhi is a senior experienced singer and has fabulously sung the song.”

While Vipin has a lot of projects in kitty, both film and non-film, Vaddi Sharaban is a song, he is very positive about. He concludes, “Vaddi Sharaban is a combination of correct people , be it the singers, musicians, instruments, cast, Music Company, producers, directors and of course it’s fabulous visuals.”

Meanwhile, the song indeed has a peppy party beat and everyone is listening it on loop. Featuring Ajay Devgn and Raakul Preet, the music video has garnered over 12 million views within just 24 hours of its release.
