Amit Trivedi mentors indie alternative band - Pull on third track of BacardÝ House Party Sessions, 'Aye Aye'

MUMBAI: Popular Bacardí House Party Sessions (BHPS) has launched Aye Aye, the third track created by the Pull –the six-piece indie alternative rock band. The track has been mentored by popular musician Amit Trivedi.

Speaking on his role as a mentor to Pull, Amit Trivedi said, “Alternative rock, especially combined with Hindi, is on an incline. Bands like pull have a soothing and a global sound, welcoming the fusion of quirky rhythm and lyrics. The band has retained their simple, honest sound, doing what moves them, by putting together this terrific track. My work with ‘Pull’ has been a thrilling experience and I absolutely love their vibe. With this effort, Bacardí House Party Sessions is not only recognising and supporting independent artists in India, but also giving an impetus to the rise of indie music within mainstream music. Thereby getting the audience exposed to varied musical genres, ultimately creating an inclusive and profitable music community.”

Known for their heartfelt poetry, Pull has given a soulful melody to the track, which has equally heartfelt lyrics. The song showcases the story of longing. The video trails back and forth as it explores experiences of both individuals featured while tracing their movements when around each other. The story reaches its ballad-like ending with the protagonists coming face-to-face in a seemingly harmless encounter that leaves both of them spellbound. Their subsequent awkward, almost shy meetings eventually indicate the beginning of something really special. The song, therefore, celebrates the joy which is entwined with the process of making new bonds in a never halting journey.

Bacardi has always aimed to showcase new talent. Their tracks are an example of the same. Stay tuned for more coming from #BacardíHousePartySessions.
