Anu Malik marks his debut in Marathi film industry with 'Aasud'

MUMBAI: One of Indian music industry’s finest music directors and a singer, known for his ‘hatke’ accent, Anu Malik is all set for his Marathi debut with Aasud.

The music launch of the movie was recently held and was attended by Maharashtra’s Home Minister Dr. Ranjit Patil, Anu Malik and others. Patil launched the music of Aasud, which is directed by Nilesh Jalamkar and Amol Tale.

Apart from Anu’s fabulous compositions, with which, he is foraying in the world of Marathi film music, another development is that his daughter has also sung one of the songs from the movie, Nako Sarkari Subsidy.

Anu Malik has already made a mark in the Hindi film industry with his kick-ass music and has given popular numbers like Oonchi Hai Building, Jaanam Samja Karo, Garam Chaaye Ki Pyaali Ho, etc., which are still one of the most loved songs in the country.

Aasud showcases the struggles and current scenario of farmers and has a strong message. Their discontent against the system is evident. The movie is a Govind Production’s film and is produced by Deepak Morey and Vijay Jadhav and is slated to release on 8 February 2019.

Well, as Anu debuts in Marathi music, it will be great to see, what he has got in the store, for all those music lovers.
