Amaal Malik turns mentor for Ankush Bhardwaj

MUMBAI: Music composer and singer Amaal Malik, who has tasted success, in the world of music, in a very short time, has made a big revelation about Indian Idol 10 finalist, Ankush Bhardwaj. He proclaimed that this bundle of talent is his discovery.

Speaking about Ankush, mentor Amaal said, “I was judging the Big FM Golden Voice on radio, when I heard Ankush for the first time. He has assisted me on a few film projects of mine including Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Chef, Golmaal Again, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Really proud that he has made it this far in Indian Idol 10.

“He is one of the most ‘taiyaar’ and promising singers, I’ve heard. He is also very soulful and honest besides being a very hardworking guy. I’m rooting for him and wish him all my love and luck,” he added.

Besides, Amaal, along with brother Armaan Malik, recently released the single, Ready To Move, featuring Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. Shot for Tiger’s brand Prowl, the dance number, sung by Armaan, has managed to catch-up with the audience. The lyrics of this upbeat number are penned by Kunaal Vermaa.

On success of the song, Amaal expressed his happiness as he said, ‘’Tiger is a dream to work with, very creative and always ready to go the extra mile. Tiger and I have collaborated before and people have loved and blessed us. Trying a new genre is always fun with him.  I'm super happy my fans love this creation.  Major Lazer, DJ Snake have popularized this genre, and I feel the audience, across the globe, is really appreciative of it, while India is also grooving on its beats.’’

Amaal had earlier collaborated with Shroff for Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main, Chal Wahan Jaate Hai and Sab Tera from Baaghi (2016), marking their fourth song together.

Meanwhile, Amaal’s song, Subah Subah, had cross 100 million views on YouTube at a lightning speed.
