MUMBAI: The Grand Premier of Indian Idol 10, which will be aired today on Sony Entertainment Television, has already created a buzz among the audience. The top 14 contestants will set the stage ablaze, today, with their spectacular performances.

The final 14 will be performing with renowned names such as Rekha Bharadwaj, Javed Ali, Kailash Kher and others from the Indian music fraternity.

With so much entertainment in store, we have listed down five reasons; one must not give this starry Grand Premiere of Indian Idol 10, a miss!

Rekha Bhardwaj’s ‘Namak Ishq Ka’:

‘Queen of Ghazals’, Rekha Bhardwaj will set the stage on fire, with her mesmerizing voice. The national award winner singer was present to support and motivate Renu Nagar, who hails from Rajasthan. Renu had taken the judges’ breath away, earlier, with her outstanding voice. Rekha Bhardwaj will enthrall audiences by singing Namak Ishq Ka with Renu and get every-one tapping.

'Classical Rockstar' Sumoyo Chakravorty’s brilliant performance:

Soumya is the first and only contestant in the history of Indian Idol 10, who has been awarded two golden microphones! Anu Malik had declared that they have found the first ever Classical Rockstar on Indian Idol 10. You have to wait and watch Soumya’s performance as he is all set to sweep everyone off their feet with his singing prowess.

Vibhor and Amit Mishra’s foot-tapping 'Bulleya':

Contestant Vibhor Parashar, from Delhi, who had caught judges’ attention with his soulful voice and lively performance, will share the stage with renowned vocalist Amit Mishra. The performance is indeed going to be magical.

Javed Ali’s love for Salman Ali:

Famous singer Javed Ali will be gracing Indian Idol 10 stage to support and motivate Haryana boy Salman Ali, who is one of the youngest contestants on the show. He has been impressing, both, judges and audiences with his Sufi style of singing. It is learnt that Javed Ali, who was greatly impressed with the youngster’s performance, compared him with the legends, who have reached the eight musical note.
