MUMBAI: Famous singer Ankit Tiwari, his brother Ankur and father have filed a complaint against erstwhile cricketer Vinod Kambli and his wife Andrea post a brawl. The Tiwaris accused that Vinod and his wife assaulted Rajendra Tiwari (Ankit's father) as Andrea thought that he tried to touch her inappropriately.

Expressing his anger, Ankit shared a post on social media.

Ankit Tiwari's brother Ankur told, "It’s quite shocking to see this kind of behaviour from a cricketer, who has represented our nation. My aged father has been assaulted by Vinod Kambli's wife and when we went to intervene, Kambli pushed us around. We are not going to sit tight or take this lightly at any cost as this behaviour cannot be tolerated. It has happened to us and we hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. We have filed a complaint and have full faith in the judiciary to take action against this."

The Tiwaris have accused ace cricketer and his wife of abusing their aged father over wrong impression. The case has been duly filed at Bangur Nagar Police station by the family against both husband and wife.

The incident occurred on Sunday, 1 July 2018 at a mall in Malad, Mumbai. It is learnt that both parties have legally registered a complaint.
