I am very choosy when it comes to singing: Jubin Nautiyal

MUMBAI: Bollywood playback industry is a cutthroat place, thus, most give in to the pressure and take what comes their way musically, barring a few and Jubin in one of them. The singer has a melodious voice, but it’s the choice of his songs that have made him popular.

"I am very choosy when it comes to singing be it Bollywood or singles. I think I need to speed up in terms of choosing the song. I hardly take an hour to dub but take ages to just select a song," said the singer.

The Tum Meri Ho singer will soon be releasing a song under T-Series. "I am coming up with a single called Humnava Mere. This is with the same composer with whom I did Haaye Dil in 2017. Shot in Venice, we have tried capturing all the beautiful locations of the place. It is themed as a sad song which is composed by Rocky Shiv, music is produced by Aditya Dev and lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir," Jubin added.

The song features Jubin along with a new girl in the music video named Ronika Sharma. The video is directed by Ashish Panda.

A small teaser is uploaded on T-Series official page with beautiful lyrics and a soulful tune, watch it below:

On his association with T-Series Jubin said, "I had to do a single with T-Series since a long time but it was getting pushed as I couldn’t sit down on a track. I came across Humnava and that’s how things got rolling. Bhushan Ji (Bhushan Kumar) has been very kind to be open to new sounds and new music.”

“I have worked with many labels until now. T-Series is a label as an artiste I am comfortable to open creatively. I would love to release my other singles also with them, with creativity they are at power," he added.

On selective Humnava Mere the singer said, "Why I choose this song, is something that you’ll understand when you hear it. I believe music is all about delivering your emotions with the right kind of songs. This song has an emotion in its every line and every word; this was a perfect melody that I wanted to work on."
