The countdown for Billboard Music Awards begins

MUMBAI: One of the most awaited music awards worldwide are Billboard Music Awards. Come 21 May the world will witness 2018 Billboard Music Awards. The audience will certainly look forward for their favorite artistes receive awards and stellar performances, there are some interesting facts and stats that audience will lap up. 

And it’s just not countdown for the telecast of the show, there are some numbers that will make wait for the show even more desperately

First-time performance that we can’t wait to watch

This year along with BTS, the 2018 BBMAs have also announced performances from Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes and Dua Lipa. The Korean septet band is the first ever K Pop Group to perform at Billboard Music Awards. The band is also nominated for the Top Social Artist Award. This will be the band’s second appearance at the event, past their win last year for the same title. 

Who will lead the winner's list?

Three extremely noted names nominated in the list are Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. These are the Top 3 nominees dominating this year’s award show racked up with 15 nominations each. The audience will be excited to see who of the three men are competing for categories including – Top Artists, Top Song Sales, Top 100 songs among other honours.

Taylor Swift, who staggering 21 trophies on her shelf. This year too she is nominated in five categories.

Host is about to stun!

Host Kelly Clarkson, American singer and songwriter, is all ready to take the stage with her stunning hosting. She revealed that she has 20 costume changes lined up for the three-hour broadcast. Certainly, would be worth a watch.

Celebration awaits!

What makes this year’s award show, is that it’s the 60th Anniversary of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart which has been honoring music’s hottest artists since 1958. This will certainly make the show a grand affair.

162 times in Billboard Top 100 list, isn't a joke or a routine thing? Therefore, Drake who holds that honour in both solo and clan tracks has proved his caliber with nine nominations over categories like ‘Top Artist’ and ‘Top Album’ among others.
