We are just trying to explore new sound: Mumbai's Finest

MUMBAI: Mumbai’s Finest, India’s first Independent hip hop and rap crew accolades include being on the cover of Rolling Stone India. The crew is known for their collaboration with music biggies like AR Rahman, Salim -Sulaiman, Shaan. This 2018 happens to be a big year for Mumbai’s Finest as they have a lot of music projects coming up and they are leaving no stone unturned to share them.

They have a clear picture in their head and know what their focus has to be upon, Ace (The rap crew member) shares, “Right now we are focusing more on our solo projects. We are just trying to explore new sound and new music. We are just doing our research and are looking forward to good quality and consistent work. Also, we are releasing an EP, an Indian classical psychedelic venturing off to something that is ambiguous."

Lately, they performed at Hungama Spotlight, “We did perform some of our most appreciated songs. We were on a whole new level of music and this was like a homecoming for us. This time the audience got to see something different in our performance. Our performance was quite different from what we usually perform live,” explains the rap crew.

The crew is working on their album Second To None, “It’s a dance hall album which would consist of different kinds of sounds mixed with a rap and would be appealing. It would definitely be a treat to anyone’s ear," ends Mumbai's Finest.
