'The Remix' winner Rashmeet Kaur shares her memorable moments

MUMBAI: The first of its kind music reality show Amazon Prime's The Remix came to an end with Rashmeet Kaur and Su Real being declared its winners. The jodi just like all the other singer-DJ pairs on the show fought for survival, but unlike the rest, they survived till the end.

On their victory, Rashmeet Kaur says, “The Remix journey was amazing, thanks to Amazon Prime and The Remix makers for getting me on board. It was beautiful and life-changing for me as I had learnt a lot of things in the process. I wish I could go back and do it again.”

She also went on to share some Remix moments, “Nucleya gave us a standing ovation for the first time in the fourth episode and told me that I was his favourite singer. We got a couple of standing ovations from Nucleya in our journey and then it got regular. Amit Trivedi (sir) said that I am a versatile singer while Sunidhi Chauhan gave inputs for our betterment. Overall it’s been quite an experience performing in front of these legendary singers.”

On her journey with Su Real, Kaur says, “Su Real is not from Bollywood, but the chemistry we shared on the show was interesting, he was very understanding. He did take notice of my inputs. I used to enjoy working hours in the studio and on stage with him. The show’s concept was to experiment with the track as you want, that's where the hip-hop background of Su Real came out and worked in our favour. As he is a senior, his knowledge got us ahead and we nailed it.”

She shares her plans, “I am working on my original song and lot of Bollywood projects, so hoping to come with a few new tracks soon. Also, I have my YouTube channel where I would be releasing my original music.”

Lastly, she drops a message to the makers of the show, “Hats off to the whole team effort of Amazon, the crew members and the choreographers as they supported us.”
