Pritam's LA concert sold out; raises funds for a cause

MUMBAI: Ace music composer Pritam's recent LA concert was sold out. The concert, which was organized for a social cause in association with Alapio, a group of Indian and South Asian Physicians played a key role in raising funds with this tie up.

One of the organizers said, "The LA show was sold out. The fan following Pritam has is tremendous, people have flown down from other cities for this and all were hysterical when he went on stage."

Bharat Patel of Alapio said, "Alapio raised funds for poor patients with Pritam’s concert. Pritam and singers were expectedly fantastic. Alapio’s goal is health and well being of all and Pritam helped accomplish our goal."

Alapio provides free medical care and free surgeries to people who cannot afford to pay for them.

Besides, Pritam’s earlier shows that were held in Dallas and Chicago were also a big hit. Hence, the word of mouth has been spreading among people, thus adding excitement about the show.

Pritam who is currently on his North America tour is extremely overwhelmed with the response that his show has got. Pritam shared his excitement, "I love performing live and when the audience is as loving as it has been in this North America tour it makes me so glad that we made this tour happen. When the audience enjoys your music it's the greatest high."

The singer also took to his social media handle and shared a clip dedicated to the LA fans.

Meanwhile, Pritam won Filmfare Best Music Director Award in 2017 for superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s Jab Harry Met Sejal.
