Badshah's collaboration with Abd El Fattah Grini 'Axe You're Gold' releases

MUMBAI: The rumours of Indian rapper Badshah collaborating with Moroccan singer Abd El Fattah Grini has turned out to be true with the former sharing news regarding the same. The duo has collaborated for the fusion song, Axe You’re Gold. Badshah shared the link of the video on his social media handle.

The song is a motivating Hindi number with some Arabic touch. Badshah has as usual lived up to his swag in the song, while Grini has matched to his wavelength.

For the ones unaware, Abd El Fattah Grini garnered international attention after crooning the Arabic version of the popular song, Jabra from superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s hit film, Fan. His Moroccan dialect got him 115 million views on YouTube, thus becoming a huge success internationally.

Badshah said, "In our industry there is no downtime. You are constantly giving your best and nothing less is acceptable. For me Gold is a state of mind. It’s when I’m in the studio or when I’m performing a sold out concert. It’s also when I meet fans on the street or friends after a busy day. When I feel fresh and walk with confidence - that is the feeling I want to bring to this collaboration with Axe. The feeling of owning your style."

Badshah's mate in the song, Moroccan singer Abd El Fattah Grini, said, "Actually, it is the first time I'm working with Sony Music and Badshah. Working on a Hindi-Arabic song from scrutch was a new and rewarding experience for me. I'm very delighted to be a part of the project Axe You're Gold."

When asked what is 'You're Gold', Grini further added, "For me, Gold is an attitude and just being yourself."

Axe You’re Gold has already started getting hits on YouTube. Badshah’s recent collaboration, Buzz with Aastha Gill and Priyank Sharma is also a rage among fans.
