I retain the original melody in my recreations: Rahul Jain

MUMBAI: Rahul Jain, one who’s composed songs for popular daily soaps like Tu Aashiqui HaiYe Pyar Nahi To Kya Hai of Sony TV and Bepannah of Colors TV, is not just a TV name. The composer has a big share in the Bollywood industry and he also happens to be a YouTube sensation. Rahul is currently ruling the YouTube charts and has given a new definition to old hits. It doesn’t end here; he’s also declared top five contributors of 2017-2018 by YouTube India.

He has more than 52,000 subscribers and has crossed 600 million views on YouTube. “The reason I got this YouTube sensation tag is that I do come up with new recreations and people do eagerly wait for my recreations,” said Jain.

Being a YouTube sensation and a ‘master of recreations’ Jain has a say on songs which are recreated, “Remix’s and re-creations are good unless and until the freshness and the originality of the song remains the same. I retain the original melody in my recreations. But, in my observation people can’t digest recreations of songs. They like the old melodies and seem totally into it.”

This year 2018 seems a year full of Bollywood projects for Rahul Jain as the singer has a few of them lined up. He reveals, “I am giving my vocals to a movie which stars Rishi Kapoor and also another movie named Nange Paao. I will be recording for six to seven Bollywood movies this year.”
