MUMBAI:  The Indo-Canadian singer, who was a YouTube sensation before she made her way into Bollywood with Chennai Express in 2013, celebrates her 28th birthday today.

The singer was 17 when she started doing covers that went viral on the internet. Hit covers like Someone Like You, Pani Da Rang, Tujhko Jo Paaya, Tum Hi Ho, Suhaani Raat, Yeh Honsla helped her create space in the music world.

Since 2013, the singer has been giving the industry one hit after another along with concerts with legends like AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam and more.
