Benny Dayal makes his jingle debut with Big Bazaar

MUMBAI: Badtameez Dil hitmaker Benny Dayal entered the jingle space for the first time with Big Bazaar. The brand that is known to make festivals special for its customers recently created a new campaign, Har Tyohaar Mein Big Bazaar and Dayal sang for the same.

The jingle composer Gaurav first approached Benny Dayal for this jingle as he had heard him sing for a couple of songs as well as unplugged versions at Coke Studio. Dayal says, “Gaurav wanted to implement my voice and give that Indian cultural touch to the jingle.”

The singer articulates his experiences during the jingle and says, “After completing the jingle, the team was quite surprised as they have heard my voice in Lat Lag GayiDisco Deewane, Batameez Dil but have not heard this version of my voice.”

The entire script of the jingle tantalized Benny as he avows, “Big Bazaar is one of those giant retail stores that cater to every Indian and to sing for a concept like this feels beautiful. It brings people from all walks of life together and people shop at Big Bazaar as they cater to everything.  Har Tyohaar Mein Big Bazaar video showcases people celebrating different festivals with great enthusiasm. The jingle prominently is Indian by heart which is well written in a poetic manner and has a sufiana touch to it.”

Benny Dayal loved the concept when he first had a glance to it while he says, “They did send me a soft audio copy and I told the composer that it was so beautiful and it did sound like a song and not like a jingle. This aspect drove me into contributing more to the jingle.”

Dayal also unveils that he would contribute to jingles in future as far as the script connects to him. While Let’s Nacho hit maker has recently released Rhim Jhim which speaks about preserving the gifts of nature and our responsibility towards the environment.
