Javed Ali lends his voice for a Gujarati movie

MUMBAI: The Gujarati music industry has now opened its doors to Bollywood singers. The list of Hindi tinsel town singers singing fo Gujarati films is rapidly growing with  singers like Armaan Malik for Superstar, Sonu Nigam with an album and more. Javed Ali, best known for his Bollywood songs such as Tu Jo Mila and Kun Faya Kun has entered the Gujarati music industry with the song Aakhon Ma Tu for Raj Boricha's upcoming film Hu Tara Ishq Ma. The romantic number featuring debutant Suraj Kumar and actress Priya Soni is penned by Dilip Rawal with music by Manoj Vimal.  

An excited Javed Ali shared his experience working on the song. He said, “While recording this song, I was given the freedom to sing in my way and that is what I enjoy the most. I believe when you do things in your way, a level of comfort comes in, giving a great result".

Javed Ali is currently a judge for the popular singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017on Zee TV. Ali has also composed and sung a single which he will be releasing next month.
