I am hundred percent satisfied with my career: Brijesh Shandilya

MUMBAI: Brijesh Shandilya is well known for his chartbuster songs like Banno, Rocket Saiyyan and the recent hit Trippy Trippy. He has come a long way from being a struggling voice to a superhit singer.

While speaking about how his take on his journey in the music industry until now, he said, “I am hundred percent satisfied with my career, I am a person from a very remote village in UP and had never thought of achieving so much.”

Shandilya considers Tanisha Bagchi as his brother and also credits him for whatever he is now. Shandilya has sung the title track of the upcoming Ajay Devgan starrer Golmaal 4, which is the fourth installment of the hit Golmaal series. “S. Thaman had called me to YRF Studios for the song, but I was busy at that time so he gave me time and finally we recorded the song in Chennai, and that too in one and a half hour,” said the Banno singer.

Brijesh wishes to work with Amit Trivedi, whom he considers an inspiration, and also with AR Rahman. Other than the Golmaal title track, the singer has sung a few songs for a regional movie - Spider and also a song in Anurag Kashyap's upcoming movie Mukkabaaz.
