VH1 Supersonic to celebrate fifth edition in February 2018

MUMBAI: VH1 Supersonic, India’s multi-genre music festival is all set to come back again, bigger and better to unite music enthusiasts. The fifth edition of LIVE Viacom18 will once again be held at the youth capital of India, between 9 – 11 February 2018 at Laxmi Lawn in Pune.

Every year this mega music festival comes with its multi – genre line ups and mesmerizing experiences. Earlier the festival brought some great musicians including Macklemore, Eric Prydz, Zedd and others to India for the first time. The festival has consistently seen international headliners such as Chainsmokers, Paul Van Dyk, Above and Beyond, Dash Berlin, Pretty Lights and more. Last year the festival attracted 40,000 fans across the three days of its run.

Speaking about the fifth edition, Live Viacom18 head Saugato Bhowmik said, “It has been a brilliant four years of VH1 Supersonic and the journey has been extremely enriching for all of us. We believe in creating experiences, technology and music that can make audiences transcend their everyday state and give them never before emotions that leave memories for life time. Going by the overwhelming responses from the music lovers in our last edition, we have decided to come back to Pune to celebrate our fifth year anniversary. We couldn’t be more excited about what we are putting together for our audience this year.”

Commenting on the festival which is on the way, VH1 Supersonic Festival curator Nikhil Chinapa said, “How quickly time flies. For the fifth edition of our festival, we are venturing down paths we’ve never travelled before, creating sounds that you’ve never heard before at VH1 Supersonic. It is going to be one heck of a party in Pune. Come February 2018, we are turning five and everyone is invited.”

Excitement in Pune is sure to build up even further as the city turns into the music and party capital with the fifth edition.
