Brijesh Shandaliya moves from 'Swagger' to 'Swag'

MUMBAI: 2015 was a turning point in singer Brijesh Shandaliya’s career, as ‘Banno Tera Swagger’ from 'Tanu Weds Manu' happened to him. Since, then his Bollywood career has taken an upward swing and there is no stopping him with his latest offering ‘Swag’ from ‘Munna Michael’. The song that released today, 5 July 2017 is a youth centric track.

Sharing his expectations Shandaliya says, “The youth is in love with the audio version as it is a dancing number. This has increased my expectation level a bit higher. The fact that it features Tiger (Shroff), the master of dance and Nawaz who probably will be dancing for the first time; it will be fun watching it.”

A shining star of Bollywood today recollects his days on the streets of Mumbai, when everything was not as shinny as 2017. “The initial one and half year in Mumbai was a big lesson. I stayed on the footpaths of the city with no one to care. I did toy with the idea of getting back home a few times, but I did not. Returning would have been no less than losing a battle. So, I continued my struggle, till I found a silver lining.”

Today fulfilling daily necessities is not his priority -- probably that never was -- the focus is to explore the creative side of music. Thus, he is looking forward to exploring the independent space. The singer is currently working on his single ‘Shiv Ji Chale Hai’ with his band Madari.

Apart from this a few Bollywood songs are in pipeline along with some Tamil and Telugu film industry projects.
