MUMBAI: With hardly any formal training in music, majorly self-taught, composer-singer, Jasleen Royal is gradually climbing the success ladder with her back to back hits. Her songs from 'Phillauri' have been very well received by her fans. The song ‘Din Shagna Da’ which released last evening is an amazing number with Jasleen composing the music and singing the song. The lyrics of the song is penned by Neeraj Rajawat and the soulful number has already touched the hearts of the listeners.

Jasleen made her Bollywood debut with Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan starrer film ‘Khoobsurat’ with a song titled ‘Preet.’ This was followed by the ‘Badla Badla’ song from ‘Badlapur’. She has also lent her voice to songs such as ‘Nachde Ne Sare’ and ‘Kho Gaye’ from the movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. Both these songs have been sung and composed by the talented singer. Then Jasleen came out with ‘Raatein’ in ‘Shivaay’ which was composed and sung by Jasleen. This was shortly followed by the hit number ‘Love You Zindagi’ from the film ‘Dear Zindagi’. This song was sung by Jasleen herself. ‘Din Shagna Da’ is a beautiful song and Jasleen reportedly had a great experience working with the production house. The music video is beautifully shot with Jasleen in it.

The singer-composer adds, "Me and Anushka were sitting in a room and Anushka told me to play the song. She apparently loves the song. She later told me that we will be shooting a very casual video while we are enjoying the song and the video will have some portions of the film and more of us chilling on the song.”
