Who all will be playing at Holi Moo! Delhi?

MUMBAI: One of India’s longest running music festivals, Holi Moo! Delhi has announced its line-up for the festival on 13 March. Like every year, there will be multiple stages highlighting diverse genres as world music, indie, electronica, and hip-hop. There will be four stages – ‘THIS’, ‘THAT’, ‘WHICH’, and ‘WHAT’. Each stage has been curated by industry tastemakers, ensuring names and sounds that are exciting and established.

The world music stage, called THIS stage, will be an all-women stage with some of the country’s leading artists like Soulmate – fronted by singer Tipriti Kharbangar, Afro-Indian-inspired The Black Mamba – singer Suman Sridhar’s new project, funk band Run Pussy Run led by singer Gowri Jayakumar and Delhi-based artiste Tritha Electric + Friends. Also performing on the stage will be acclaimed Polish singer and composer Anna Maria Jopek and her band. Behind some of the most influential and groundbreaking projects in popular Polish music, Anna Maria or AMJ as she is referred to as sometimes, is one of Poland’s musical treasures.

The indie stage named THAT stage, which has highlighted new sounds and collaborations over the years, is being curated by cultural hub Roost. Artistes like psychedelic cabaret band Emperor Minge, tropical pop French band Bo Bun Fever, Delhi-based experimental rock band Man Goes Human and reggae-rock act MC Eucalips and The Soundation will perform on this stage.

Alternative culture specialists and online music magazine Wild City will assemble the line-up for the electronica stage, called WHICH stage. Headlined by one of India’s most proficient techno DJ and producers, Kohra, the stage will also feature RBMA attendee and bass music producer, Oceantied, live electronica act Curtain Blue, Moniker and new DJ on the block, Mistress.

The fourth stage or WHAT stage, will introduce a colourful smattering of the sounds of hip-hop, reggae, dancehall and trap. This stage, in partnership with Delhi-based club BW, will feature MC and DJ MoCity alongside Delhi DJs Rufu MoFo, Gags, Masterkids + Harry Hop-Chemy and Sidharth Talwar and DJ Gav.
