MUMBAI: An apple does not fall too far away from the tree and this stands true in Sonu Nigam's son Nevaan's case. The young Nigam is extremely found of singing. In fact, he remembers the lyrics of all the recent songs and can sing them with confidence and he also likes singing reality show sets.

Jr. Nigam was recently on the ‘Indian Idol 9’ sets, where Sonu is a judge. Nevaan was on the sets with his friends. Probably he wanted them to experience a reality show set.

Nevaan stayed calm during the shot as he wanted to watch his favourite show contestants perform. The young singer is said to be an avid follower of ‘Indian Idol’. But, you cannot take the mischief away from a child. Thus, Nevaan was seen having some adventure on the sets as he hopped to his father’s judging chair during the breaks and made his way to the microphone to sing a few songs. What was interesting was that Nevaan did not tell his father about these things as he was too shy to tell him.

Jr. Nigam is an achiever himself having won the annual singing competition in his school for the third consecutive time.
