Rekha Bhardwaj visits the 'Indian Idol 9' sets to promote 'Rangoon'

MUMBAI: The cast of period drama 'Rangoon', Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and its director- music composer Vishal Bhardwaj recently visited the sets of Sony Entertainment Televisions' 'Indian Idol 9'. However, they were not the only ones to make it on the Idol sets from the Rangoon team. The show also witnessed the presence of very talented Rekha Bhardwaj.

The singer has sung tracks ‘Mere Miyan Gaye England’, ‘Ek Dooni Do’, ‘Tippa’, ‘Chori Chori’ and ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ (Female Version) for ‘Rangoon’.

Rekha Bhardwaj also went on to croon a few songs on the sets for the ‘Idol’ viewers and contestants.

'Rangoon' is a period film set during World War II (1939-1945) and it supposedly portrays the life and times of Mary Ann Evans aka Fearless Nadia, Bollywood's first original stunt-woman. It is scheduled to release on 24 February 2017.
