Bollywood singer Thomson Andrews sings for Kollywood

MUMBAI: Bollywood playback singer, songwriter, recording artist and actor Thomson Andrews who has managed to impress us with his unique voice in songs like 'Bach Ke Bakshi' from ' Detective Byomkesh Bakshi', 'Shehar Mera' from 'One By Two' and 'Rumani' from 'Akaash Vani' has a new release 'Un Paarvayil', from the upcoming Tamil film 'Nisabdham'. This is Thomson's second Tamil song after superhit track 'Saridhaana' from 'Amara Kaaviyam' and he is really excited about the same.

'Un Paarvayil', is a romantic track and Thomson is glad he got an opportunity and is receiving a lot of love from South India where it is already becoming popular.

Sharing the experience while working on the song, Thomson says "My song, ‘Un Paarvayil’, in the film, ‘Nisabdham’, is a romantic duet between a man and a woman and how they meet, fall in love, become a family and their love for their daughter. Shawn Jazeel (Music Composer of the film) and I finished dubbing the song in a few hours. I love learning new languages and trying out their unique dialect. I have been fortunate to sing 40 advertising jingles so far in as many as 12 languages for various brands globally. Also, I’m half Tamilian and half Malayali, raised in Mumbai with relatives in Chennai. Tamil, being one of my native languages from my mom’s side of the family, is an added advantage. I am always exposed to Tamil television channels, which surely helped me in the familiarity of the speech and dialect of Tamil songs."

Thomson recently dubbed for Pritam on the BGM of SRK starrer ‘Raees’ and has sung additional vocals for ‘Rangoon’. He is about to release his first International music video a funk-pop single 'I Got Your Money'. He has also released a debut single with his band 'SPUNQX'. Thomson also tours and performs with Sunidhi Chauhan globally on her concerts

Apart from Tamil and Hindi, Thomson can sing in Malayalam, Kannada, Tulu, Marathi, Bengali and has sung several International ad jingles to his credit for products in Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, West Indies among others.
