Armaan Malik takes to social media to express his 'zero nomination' disappointment

MUMBAI: While 2016 was a phenomenal year for Armaan Malik with his songs making to the top of every chart; 2017 turns out to be disappointing. The young sensation went on to rule the industry and his fans in the year gone by, but all his hardwork and dedication towards the art came to a standstill at the award functions.

The singer’s name wasn't called out at any award ceremony. Indeed, a sad news for all his fans who loving address him as their Prince.

However, this wasn't just upsetting and disheartening to the fans. Armaan’s name being out of all the nomination did hurt him bad and the singer took to social media to express his emotions.

Here is what he said…

“I usually don't vent out like this but it definitely hurt me deeply and I finally thought of letting it all out.

Its a little disappointing to see that after singing  #BolDoNaZara, #SabTera, #JabTak, #Besabriyaan, #SauAasman, #BuddhuSaMann
#MujhkoBarsaatBanaLo and some of the top songs in 2016 .. I haven't been considered in the Best Playback Singer Category in most of the recent awards that have been held.

For me, It isn't about winning the award at all, it's about recognizing that I was a significant part of the music and songs that did well this year and touched people's hearts.

Glad to have felt or experienced this early on in my career, so that I don't keep any unnecessary attachment to awards or any such materialistic recognition

What really made me smile was the untiring support and wishes from my fans who got to know about all this. All I have and will have forever will be your love and support. Thank you #Armaanians for always making me smile even when I feel low.

Whatever happens I will never stop smiling and never lose hope in life. Love you all till the end.

Love, #PrinceAM” (sic)

Last year the elder Malik, Amaal too had taken to social media to share his views on Bollywood Music Industry.
