Nico Stojan, Dana Ruh to mark India debut at SulaFest

MUMBAI: Germany-based music artistes Nico Stojan and Dana Ruh will be one of the headlining acts at the tenth edition of SulaFest, which will take place here in February next year.

It will mark their first performance in the country, read a statement.

The three-day SulaFest, known for its mega mix of music genres like electro acoustic, techno, house, pop, electronica, rock, percussion, indie and reggae, will begin from 3 February at Sula Vineyards.

Multilingual folk fusion band The Raghu Dixit Project will also be performing at the fest.

Stojan -- classically trained clarinet player and one of the world's best DJ's -- will play his electrifying music to induce audiences with zest and energy.

Dhruv Ghanekar, a multi-instrumental artist with his band Dhruv Voyage will introduce a unique genre-bending music as they will mix North and West African music with Jazz, Pop, Assamese as well as Rajasthani folk music for the gig.

Other performances will be by Murthovich, Wouter de moor, Ernesto Altes, Igor Marijuan and Zoya Mohan. Indian Ocean will also perform tracks from their upcoming album at SulaFest prior to its release.

Artistes like Jan Blomqvist with band from Germany, Hang Massive (World) from Sweden and London, Your Chin, Tejas Belkond, Ayesha Pramanik and Shaun Moses from India will also be performing here.
