MUMBAI: Upcoming Indian action thriller movie ‘Shivaay’ has been in news from day one for its music. It's first track 'Bolo Har Har Har' was a success amongst the viewers and now its all about 'Darkhaast'. The teaser of the song is out and it has managed to leave both Mithoon and Devgn fans craving for more.

Well, the wait will come to an end tomorrow, 22 September 2016 with 'Darkhaast' releasing on T-series at 12PM IST.

Mithoon who is eminent for his compositions such as ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Meri Aashiqui’, ‘Aashiqui - The Love Theme’, ‘Maula Mere Maula’, ‘Javeda Zindagi’, ‘Humnava’ has composed the film's score and all the soundtracks.

'Darkhaast' has been penned by Sayeed Quadri. It is a love song, sung by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan.

In a live Facebook session the composer along with the singers and lyricist shared a few details about the song.

Mithoon revealed that, ‘Darkhaast’ is the first love song that he composed for ‘Shivaay’. He further said that, the film is high on action, but everything is incomplete without love and that’s why ‘Darkhaast’ comes into play. Besides, he mentioned Sayeed Quadri put his heart out while writing the lyrics.

Arijit has lent his voice in this song and we believe that the song is going to be as soulful as it can be. He shared that the song includes stunning visuals, amazing locations which were surprising for them as well. Composition wise the ‘Power Ballad’ is a different composition and this is one of the greatest ballads composed by Mithoon as he put in a lot of energy in the song.

Whereas, Sunidhi said that, she was thrilled to sing the song as she connected with the tune and the words. She also revealed that she would go to the studio over and over again with some excuses or the other with the mere intention of staying connected with the song.

The composer also shared how the creative processes works. He stated that before recording any song the singer should connect to the tune and that is why he usually shares some portion of the melody with the singers.

On having roped in Sunidhi he said that, he connected with her while she was touring abroad. He asked her whether she wanted to record the song and it was an instant yes from the singer for she liked the tune. She wondered how someone could say 'no' to a song with a tune like that.

Mithoon further added that, music is all about visuals and this love song is different as there are different perspectives. Something that he has tried to bring in. "It was actually amazing for all of us to see the music video sent by Ajay Devgn as he kept the ‘essence of the song’ intact," ended the composer.
