Them Clones' iconic Zephyretta receives electronica treatment

MUMBAI: For over a decade, Them Clones’ iconic track ‘Zephyretta’ has existed and gradually grown among the alternative music aficionados in its decade plus long existence. The song, by the fifteen year old Delhi based band, received an ‘electronic’ treatment to its sound, thanks to the established music producer Samarth Bee a.k.a Audio Pervert.

The single, since its inception, continues to be one of the few tracks from the ‘scene’ that continued to remain relevant despite evolving music scene, the apparent endangered ‘rock’ music and more so, despite Them Clones’ inactive live activities. However, the very factor makes Zephyretta ‘timeless’ and fan-favourite.

The nature of the composition allows several possibilities to rework and recreate, and Audio Pervert surely managed to revisit Zephyretta through a perspective that only he knows how. Co-founder of electro-punk outfit ‘Teddy Boy Kill’, Samarth B’s (Audio Pervert) contribution to the music scene extends to collaborations with acts like Bombay Black, Donn Bhat, Sulk Station, Hashback Hashish and a few more.
