MUMBAI: Divya Kumar who has sung some commercially successful high tempo numbers for Bollywood films, now wants to try his hand at independent music. In fact, the 'G Phaad Ke' singer has plans of releasing a single some time soon.

"I am working on a single at the moment and this is my priority," confirmed Kumar.

The singer who is best known for his peppy tracks, is looking at creating a fun song yet again. "If everything falls into place, the song will be out by the end of this year or early next year," revealed Kumar who is yet to get a label on board for his venture.

Kumar, who has been associated with Bollywood for a while now wants his single to be a special one. Hence, he isn't looking at rushing through anything. However, this is not the only concept he is working on. He also has plans of having a jam session with some known Bollywood playback singers and creating a video around the same. "It will be more of a fun collaboration," stated he.

The singer who is currently grabbing enough attention for his recently released Bollywood tracks 'Din Mein Karenge Jagrata' form 'Freeky Ali' and 'Bhangada Pa' form 'Flying Jatt' is not worried about his upcoming singles success. "I just feel that the content has to be good at the end of the day. Because there are a lot of people who simply make covers and they turn out to be huge hits," ended he.
