The Voice India to retain Season 1 judges for Season 2?

MUMBAI: Singing reality show, The Voice India is poised to return soon with its second season on &TV.

The participants of the first season were coached by Bollywood singers Himesh Reshammiya, Mika Singh, Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan. Radioandmusic.com learns that the same judges will remain the same this time.

Says a source, "Our show has the format to retain the same coaches who were present in the previous season. But this year, Shaan, who is judging the current show 'The Voice India Kids' could be replaced in 'The Voice India Season 2'."

According to reports, the auditions were going to start from 28 August 2016 but some technical glitches have caused them to be postponed.

Registrations are now open for The Voice India 2016 auditions. Participants between the age of 16 years to 30 years can participate in The Voice India 2016.

The Voice India consists of three phases: a Blind Auditions, a Battle Phase and Live Performance shows. Four coaches choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each coach has the length of the auditioner’s performance (about 90 seconds) to decide if he or she wants that singer on his or her team; if two or more coaches want the same singer, then the singer gets to choose their coach.

The Voice India season 1 was won by Pawandeep Rajan, who was coached by Shaan.
