Exclusive: Post court marriage; Shweta Pandit to wed the traditional way

MUMBAI: Sometime last week, the media went berserk with the news of Bollywood playback singer Shweta Pandit tying the knot with her Italian fiancée Ivano Fucci on 27 July 2016. A lot of media houses also went ahead to claim that the duo had already tied the knot in Italy back in June, but we at Radioandmusic.com get you the real story.

It was love at first sight with entrepreneur-film producer Ivano Fucci for the 'Aankhein Khuli' singer, when they met for the first time in Mumbai. But, the real story began in Paris on 7 June 2016, when Ivano went down on his knees to propose marriage to his lady love. The next thing one knew was that the couple was legally married. The duo had a court marriage in Mumbai last month in presence of close family members and friends. Though, this is not it!

The wedding celebration will go on till October for Ivano-Shweta. Confirming the same, Shweta's spokesperson said, "They have recently had a quiet court marriage which was attended just by the family since the court date had come in before the ceremony. But they plan to have a mehandi and sangeet night in Jodhpur (Shweta's hometown) and a Hindu wedding at a temple in Mumbai on 27 August. The wedding will be attended by their friends, eminent singers and film personalities."

Thus, post the mehandi and sangeet in Jodhpur the couple will tie the knot in Iskcon Temple, Mumbai. Post this Shweta-Ivano will head to Tuscany Italy where they will have a white wedding and reception. This ceremony is scheduled for October. "We are very excited," said Shweta who later also revealed her honeymoon plans. "Our honeymoon plans include a cruise ship along the Amalfi coast to Capri in Italy and Greece in October," added the singer.

We also managed to get some exclusive pictures from Shweta and Ivano's pre-wedding shoot that took place last week in Tuscany, Italy. Have a look.
