Tulsi Kumar floats new venture - T-Series StageWorks Academy

MUMBAI: As far as legacies go in the Bollywood music fraternity, none could be older than that of Tulsi Kumar. Daughter of the late Gulshan Kumar, Tulsi Kumar is a Bollywood singer and performer. Tulsi has now gone a step ahead and formed her own niche in the industry by initiating the T-Series StageWorks Academy.

Speaking about it Tulsi said, “As I am based in Delhi right now after my marriage, this is me and my husband Hitesh Ralhan's mutual project. T-Series StageWorks Academy is an academy of film music and performing arts. Our initiative is to discover, cultivate and generate a pool of expert and passionate professionals who can match the demands in the area of films, singing, dancing and performing arts globally.”

T-Series StageWorks Academy is located in Film City, Noida in Delhi. The academy consists of a team of eminent advisers and faculties for all courses.

“Notable artists like Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Sharman Joshi, and Ahmed Khan are a few who are associated with us. In time, we will expand our branches in Mumbai and all over the country as well,” added Tulsi.

The singer was honoured with the GIMA Award for Best Duo Song 'Soch Na Sake' this year. In the recent past, the ‘Tu Hi Rab, Tu Hi Dua’ singer rendered a soulful single in dedication to her late father Gulshan Kumar called 'Mere Papa’.
