Raghu Dixit and Ricky Kej to host shows at Indigo

MUMBAI: Music speaks what cannot be expressed and soothes the mind and soul. It has a universal language and it is not limited to any particular state or country. This World Music Day, Indigo is collaborating with India's eminent musicians that have crossed borders through their music. Musicians like Raghu Dixit (Singer-Composer-Producer at The Raghu Dixit Project) Grammy award winning Composer Ricky Kej, Behram Siganporia (Vocalist/Bass Guitarist at Best Kept Secret), Vasundhara Das and Shraddha Srinath will be on air with Indigo along with their curated playlists and more.

These musicians will be bringing music from around the world, from the artists they have loved listening to, their beloved tracks and so on.

“In the past years we have interviewed musicians but this year the musicians will be showcasing different genres of music on air throughout the day and this is happening for the first time at Indigo. Michelle and Nathan will be there to help Raghu with the practical things of radio and the rest of the RJs will assist the other musicians according to the time slot,” said RJ Shagufta.

According to the vocalist/Bass guitarist of Best Kept Secret Behram Siganporia, this will be his first radio show ever as a host with Indigo on World Music Day.

The perception of an all-day musical festivity was originated by the French Minister of Culture, Jack Lang. The World Music Day later became celebrated during 120 countries around the globe.
