Neeti Mohan to perform at Smile Foundation's charity gala dinner

MUMBAI: Neeti Mohan, winner of 2013 Filmfare - RD Burman Award, will be performing at Smile Foundation's charity gala dinner on 3 June 2016. Neeti is famous for songs like 'Jiya Re', 'Ishq Wala Love', 'Bang Bang', 'Bombay Velvet' and 'Taang Uthake' amongst others.

In association with the Virat Kohli Foundation, Smile Foundation is organising a one-of-its-kind charity dinner in Mumbai on 3 June. Planned as the biggest charity event this year, the dinner will bring together eminent singers, cricketers, Bollywood celebrities and many other renowned personalities for the empowerment of underprivileged children and youth.

In a conversation with Radioandmusic.com the ‘Jiya Re’ singer said, “Manisha from Smile Foundation got in touch with me and explained that they are planning a very interesting evening. She said that along with various entertainment programs they want to organise an auction so that they can raise some funds for the kids of both the organizations. Hence, I agreed on being a part of it.”

The songstress is a part of the affair to encourage the beautiful kids. The whole objective is to create more money which can be used wisely to create awareness for children from both the organizations for their educational purposes.

“I guess, as a singer being a part of this noble development can widen the whole agenda. I feel privileged to be a part of this great cause. I believe that if we all get together to raise some funds and create awareness around it, the cause will be a success,” said Neeti.
