The first ever DLDK India: Great visuals, electrifying tunes and Steve Angello's revisit

MUMBAI: The opening chapter of DLDK India featured Steve Angello and numerous other international artists like Sem Vox, Third Party, Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano as well as home-grown performances by Anish Sood and NKHL as part of the line-up. Special effects, visuals, and glamorous production were at the pinnacle in DLDK India. About four years back, Don’t Let Daddy Know started in Ibiza and it has since become a rage in Europe.

The one-day dance music extravaganza finally came to India and presented a spectacular show that even led to comparisons with DLDK Amsterdam. The former Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello made his glorious comeback in DLDK India after his ‘OneLastTour’. Home-grown acts by Anish Sood and NIKL prove to be the ideal opening acts. Their live sets blended across House, Electro and Techno and the mood of the festival effortlessly. DLDK’s resident DJ Sem Vox released a brand-new Don’t Let Daddy Know official anthem ‘Mumbai’ prior to the occurrence and we loved his set. However, the EDM version of Adele’s ‘Hello’ that featured out of the blue, did surprise the attendance but failed to amuse them.

Followed by supporting performances from Russian record producer and DJ ARTY, UK based Third Party, and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Steve Angello lit the stage on fire. Third Party presented its brand new collaboration with Martin Garrix ‘Lions In The Wild’. Angello's set-list included remixed versions of popular DJs including Eric Prydz's ‘Opus’ and Swedish House Mafia's 'Don't You Worry Child', 'In My Mind', 'Leave The World Behind', before ending the grand set with 'We Are The Children Of The Wild'.

According to us, the first ever DLDK India is down in history. We witnessed a massive global dance music event organised by Ferriswheel Entertainment with great talents on one platform along with Indian support for the first time.
