Singers Jasmine, Shalmali, Akasa, Anusha are MTV India's 'Angels of Rock'

MUMBAI: MTV India will soon launch a unique music travel show titled 'Angels Of Rock.' A one of its kind show that will not just celebrate womanhood in al its forms but will also introduce Indian audiences to women achievers across the country.

The show will begin with four singers heading on a road trip to narrate 10 different stories through music. The singers who will feature on the show are Jasmine Sandlas, who was last seen singing 'Raat Jashan Di' with Yo Yo Honey Singh, Shalmali Kholgade of 'Pareshaan' fame, Akasa Singh of 'India's Raw Star' fame and Anusha Mani of 'Gulaabo' fame.

On their road trip, these talented singers will discover different stories. Some of these stories will include tales along the Wagah Border, women BSF personnel, the all-women Jaipur fire brigade, the all-women solar engineers at Ajmer and and a radio station at Ahmedabad manned only by women.

"These stories will be about women fighters and achievers," said a source close to the show.

The shooting for 'Angels of Rock' took place a few months ago and it will air sometime soon. The promos of the show are already on air.
