Singer Khushboo Grewal wants Shraddha Kapoor's luck to rub off on 'Girl I Need You'

MUMBAI: Khushboo Grewal a voice that made it into Bollywood with Meet Bros 'Pink Lips' is hoping for her latest song 'Girl I Need You' from 'Baaghi'to hit the right cord. While she wishes for the best she is extremely happy to have got the opportunity to sing alongside Arijit Singh.

"Singing for a song that Arijit has lent his voice to, is a dream come true for all . One would like to associate with people who elevate you," said the singer who unfortunately did not get the opportunity to sing with Singh in the same studio. "Technology is a boon and bane. Today one can record from anywhere. So, two singers do not have to be in the studio at the same time. Therefore, I sang my portion of the song alone," revealed the artiste.

Grewal feels lucky to have given her voice to Shraddha Kapoor who is a fabulous singer herself. "Singing for a singer is pressurising. I just hope that I have done justice to the song," averred the 'Awesome Mora Mahiya' singer.

She added, "Shraddha has been a lucky mascot for most Bollywood songs be it 'Tum Hi Ho' or 'Galliyan.' I hope her luck rubs on this song too."

Apart from having sung 'Girl I Need You,' Grewal has also sung many yet to release songs for Meet Bros. The list includes romantic, sad and dance numbers. "As singers, we have a very small role to play in the making of a song. We sing a lot of songs some make it, some don't. That is why it is best to sing and forget," ended Grewal.
