I could be back ...but I wonÆt be right back: Avicii

MUMBAI: Eminent Swedish music producer Tim Bergling also known as Avicii, has declared his retirement from live performances and tours. Due to health issues and illness, he had also cancelled several shows in the past years. While it is still uncertain what he has intended for the future, it seems he will not be saying goodbye to the music industry entirely.

Avicii posted an amiable letter to his fans on his Facebook page and on his website saying he had "too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist."

"Two weeks ago, I took the time to drive across the US with my friends and team, to just look and see and think about things in a new way. It really helped me realise that I needed to make the change that I’d been struggling with for a while. I will however never let go of music, I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang!" says the Swedish electronic musician.

Considered one of the top DJs in the world, Avicii is famous for some great singles such as, ‘Wake Me Up’, ‘Hey Brother’, ‘Addicted to You’, ‘The Days’, ‘The Nights’, ‘Levels’ and ‘Waiting for Love’. His track 'Wake Me Up' was one of the fastest-selling singles of the year and the young DJ has also won Best Electronic act at the MTV EMA’s and the American Music Award for favourite Electronic Dance Music Artist.

He performed in Mumbai for the Sunburn Arena in December 2013, and Sunburn, Goa in 2014. We believe this is really the end of an era. We wish Avicii all the best and hope that he certainly not loses motivation in music.
