MUMBAI: The official video of ‘Let’s nacho’ from forthcoming film 'Kapoor and Sons', featuring Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Afzal Khan is just out.

And, finally Bollywood has got Nucleya! After the smashing hit party song ‘Kar Gayi Chull’, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ is back with the next big track of the year ‘Let's Nacho.’ Tamil fever is on top of the song. Composed by Nucleya, written by Kumaar and Christopher Pradeep, this up-tempo, high-power song is sung by Badshah and Benny Dayal. The engaging beat, quirky rap and catchy music makes for a nice feet-tapping number.

Nucleya aka Udayan Sagar has made his debut with this song ‘Let’s nacho’ and Radioandmusic.com caught up with him  for a chat. Udayan made DnB in his own way, he took Indian EDM to a different intensity, and his desi style has always attracted youth. Asked about his Bollywood experience, Udayan said, “It was a great experience. Dharma liked my track Tamil fever with Benny Dayal and wanted that quirkiness in ‘Let’s Nacho’. We gave our own flavour with an addition in the form of Punjabi rapper Badshah.’’

“Purity of sound is essential; you need to be true to yourself if you’re creating something close to your heart. I might create music which is based on EDM but those are unique with a rich Indian flavour. I can say they are my own EDM. ‘Let’s Nacho’ is a bit different from the usual numbers I create. It is based on EDM tempo, but there are South Indian elements, Indian tunes, Indian drums, and Badshah’s Hindi rap to make it desi,’’ explained Udayan.

We asked him about his favourite tracks from his past albums, current projects, and his favourite musicians. “Aaja’ is very close to my heart because my son has sung a few parts and the lyrics, the emotion, the beat, and, of course, the transformation of the tempo are all just amazing for me. ‘Laung Gawacha’ is another favourite because of its high energy and fusion. I am very fond of Vishal-Shekhar and the kind of music they are doing. And when it comes to international artists, I have a liking for Jack U, Diplo and Skrillex; they are pretty amazing and experimenting with their music.”
