MUMBAI: Indian Idol fame singer Parleen Gill will be a married man on 21 February 2016. You heard it right. The singer is getting married to well-known fashion blogger Aakriti Rana. The two have been in a relationship for more than four and a half years now.

Gill met Rana in Pune army cantonment through common friends.  Their friendship gradually developed into a love story with the singer proposing to his lady love in  style. "I proposed in a filmy style with a bouquet and went on my knees while singing," said Gill who is currently trying to balance both work and his wedding celebration.

The singer has a sangeet ceremony tonight (20 February). The function will witness the presence of Gill's industry friends. "Hard Kaur, Meiyang Chang, Abhishek Kumar,  Deepali Kishore, Amit Paul, Emon, Ankita Mishra,  Prashant Tamang ( Indian Idol 3 winner)  Sourabhee Debbarma ( Indian Idol 4 winner) and many more will attend the function,"  averred the artist.

The wedding will take place in a Gurudwara and it will be followed by DJ and dance, soon after which the couple will head for their honeymoon to Greece.
