Sunburn Goa 2015: Day 3 was owned by Martin Garrix and Bassjackers

MUMBAI:  The music madness at Sunburn Arena continued on Day 3, the audience turnout was highest so far in the festival, all thanks to the emergent and high octane lineup that included Martin Garrix and Bassjackers.

Acts which left a mark:

The day started with Mumbai’s underground artist Ankur Sood. It was followed by Nucleya and Cubezoid.  The audience was mesmerised with techno and high energy progressive as Nucleya performed bass heavy electronica anthems like ‘Akkad Bakkad’ while mixing south Indian folk music with rad western beats.

The other artists who performed were Aly & Fila, Nelio, DJ Dee, Squidworks, Clement, Seth Troxler, thereby ensuring another brilliant day full of high spirits and high energy at the Sunburn Arena.

Bassjackers not only increased the music tempo at the venue with its performance, but also warmed up the crowd for Martin Garrix’s performance. Bassjackers is a DJ duo, Marlon Flohr, the wild and outspoken half and also the face of the team as he performs on stage whereas his counterpart Ralph is laidback and introverted. On Day 3, it was perfect display of their opposing personalities, and a perfect combination for this unique one DJ-one producer collaboration.

The star of the day:

When Dutch DJ Martin Garrix took over the main stage, it was nothing but a pure show of charisma. The 19-year-old music revolutionary enchanted the audience with hits like ‘Animals’ which had made him the youngest producer to reach number one on the electronic music store Beatpot. During his performance, fans stomped and raised hands and made the trademark dance music sign of heart shape for Martin including putting all their camera lights on at one go for him. The night ended with a beautiful mix of Adele’s ‘Hello’ and to end the day, he delivered a warm ‘Shukriya’ to all his fans that were resent at the arena.

The very last day of Sunburn Goa 2015, Day 4 will end up on high note with international DJ David Guetta headlining the event.  Clubs like NYXE, Marbella and Hilltop will host the after parties to keep the fans swaying to the music till the wee hours of the morning
