Ankit Tiwari to compose more of original æpeppy and danceÆ music

MUMBAI: With fame comes responsibility, and singer-music composer Ankit Tiwari who is best known for ‘Galliyan’, is experiencing the same at the moment with half a dozen composition projects in his kitty. It was not too long ago that Tiwari faced rejections from the industry. Tiwari looks at that phase no differently from the rejections faced by legendary musicians like Kishore Kumar and RD Burman. Today he is an in demand singer-music composer, something that leaves him with no time to strike a conversation with a stranger. But, there is enough room for him to fill his music with some refreshing and peppy tunes.

Tiwari, who recently sang and composed the ‘Wazir’ song ‘Tu Mere Paas’, is all set to experiment with different genres of music. Currently he is looking at getting into more peppy music and dance numbers. However before he gets into an experimental zone, he would like to re-create the magic of love through his T-Series single that is due for release sometime soon. Tiwari will feature in the music video of the song.

While the singer would like to experiment more on the musical front, he is not too open about reworking on old compositions like most of his ‘ilk’. “A director once told me that legends should not be touched. And I have been abiding by that,” stated the musician while adding, “However, I cannot predict the future. But, at the moment I will not be remaking any old compositions.”

Apart from working in the studio, the singer is also doing some live events that include ‘Love Anthem’, a nationwide project that he initiated with his brother Ankur Tiwari. The first ‘Love Anthem’ concert that was held at Tiwari’s home town Kanpur saw a huge turnout. The second will be held in Mumbai on 27 December, 2015, and Tiwari eagerly looks forward to this one.
