Bollywood singer Nakash Aziz to release a single soon

MUMBAI: Nakash Aziz, the voice behind some extremely successful Bollywood numbers like ‘Gandi Baat’, ‘Second Hand Jawaani’, ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’ and many more, is all set to enter the independent music space. Aziz is currently working on an untitled single, which will most likely release sometime around his birthday - 24 February - next year.

Since, independent work is something that Aziz has wanted to do for a while now, he will be putting in his best efforts. “It will be a big budget and high on production for the music video. I would want it to match the international standards,” said the singer.

Aziz who enjoys singing Bollywood songs is extremely thankful to the medium for giving him the opportunity to work with industry biggies like A.R. Rahman and Pritam Chakraborty early in his career. But, as a musician, he has not had the opportunity to express himself musically in Bollywood. One of the main reasons for this, he thinks, is because songs are limited to a situation or character in a film. This is why Aziz has always felt the need to create something with his own vision. “I always wanted to share my experiences of life through music, in the most honest way I can. And this single gives me that opportunity,” he confessed.

The singer is not too sure if he will be successful in his attempt to express himself musically, but he is of the opinion that there is no harm in trying. “It is all about trial and errors. And I will learn from my mistakes but at the moment I will go all out,” stated the ‘Dhating Naach’ singer.

Aziz also wants his music to be recognised globally, but before that he wants to connect with his listeners. And more importantly, he wants his music to inspire audiences as well.
