MUMBAI: Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru are the cities that will host the #1DFanFest, which will bring together fans of the English-Irish pop group- One Direction.

Sony Music, on Friday, announced that #1DFanFest will be held at Hard Rock Cafe in Delhi on 16 November, Bengaluru on 18 November and Mumbai on 22 November.

Fans of the UK boyband can gather, meet other One Direction fans, sing along to their favourite songs by the band and listen to songs from their new album ‘Made in the A.M.’

“Fans just continue to be absolutely incredible. They just surprise us all the time with just how amazing they are. Obviously we’re not here, if they’re not, and they’ve just been great. We feel good about this," bandmates Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson said in a joint statement.

Arjun Sankalia, director, International Repertoire, Sony Music India, shared that ‘Made in the A.M.’ is an album that the fans have been eagerly waiting for and "this fan fest is our Diwali gift to them”.

Promoting the event across the three cities is music channel 9XO. They are initiating a Dubsmash contest where the fans can send in entries to their Dubsmash videos for songs ‘Drag Me Down’ or ‘Perfect’ and a select few will get free passes to the fest.
