Sitar-Sarod duo Lakshay and Aayush create magic at Delhi Classical Music Festival

NEW DELHI: Talented duo- Lakshay Mohan Gupta (Sitar) and Aayush Mohan Gupta (Sarod) created a never like before musical extravaganza at the Delhi Classical Music Festival 2015, proving that music is connected with the soul and the instruments bind the music to create divine experience.

The exceptional pair performed Alap Jor and composition in Raga Jog and later played a fast-paced piece in Raga Kirwani.

Lakshay Mohan and Aayush Mohan are disciples of Pandit Ravi Shankar. Recently, the young protégés were also credited as being the first Indians to perform at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, USA.

The Delhi Classical Music Festival was a five-day event that featured renowned artists from the field of Hindustani classical music. The event was being held at Kamani Auditorium in Delhi. Stalwarts such as Vidushi Parween Sultana, Pt Bhajan Sopori, Pt. Rajan Sajan Mishra, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Jasraj and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and others participated in the music festival.
