Pharrell Williams to perform at Breakthrough Prize Ceremony

MUMBAI: Amidst the world's top scientists and mathematicians, ‘Happy’ singer- Pharrell Williams will give a special performance to make the third annual Silicon Valley based-Breakthrough Prize ceremony, a memorable affair.

Along with the ten-time Grammy award winner, the event will feature a star-studded line-up of presenters like Russell Crowe, Hilary Swank, Lily Collins and Thomas Middleditch, and Martin Starr of HBO's Silicon Valley to join host- Emmy nominated Cosmos executive producer- Seth MacFarlane, to honour leading scientists and mathematicians in the world.

The award ceremony is hosted by stars from the Silicon Valley, like Sergey Brin (Google), Anne Wojcicki (23andMe), Jack Ma (Alibaba), Cathy Zhang, Yuri Milner (DST Global), Julia Milner and Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), and Priscilla Chan, along with Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter.

Emmy Award-winning Don Mischer Productions will be producing and directing the ceremony, which will be telecasted live on National Geographic Channel, followed by a one-hour version of the ceremony scheduled for FOX on Sunday, 29 November, at 7-8 pm ET/PT. Additionally, the one-hour programme will air globally on the National Geographic Channel in 171 countries and in 45 languages.
