Bengaluru Habba starts on Thursday with musical performances

BANGALORE: The annual Bengaluru Habba is all set to start today with a Indian musical extravaganza at the Ravindra Kalakeshtra on J C Road, Bengaluru at 6 pm . 85 pc of Indian music sales mobile driven by 2010 - Soundbuzz

SC's no to Rabbi Shergill in 'Sorry Bhai!' row

MUMBAI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to pass any interim direction on a plea of noted singer Rabbi Shergill for the deletion of a certain song in the recently released Hindi film 'Sorry Bhai!', which he claimed was his copyright, says a PTI report. A bench of Justices Arijit Pasayat and S H Kapadia turned down the plea of senior counsel K T S Tulsi who made the plea during the "mentioning time". The bench said it would hear the matter after it is listed for hearing.

Stage set for India's annual 'Rock' awards

Avial competes with global bands for honours

Mumbai airwaves change tenor, combat attack

MUMBAI: Different music, tweaked programming and sobered down RJ talk marked Mumbai's FM airwaves for three days after the first terror attacks hit Mumbai. Stranded staff, affected families and other problems were swept aside as stations rallied to offer a voice of reason to a disturbed city. While some like Radio One's programming head Malini were at the Trident in Mumbai when the attack happened, other RJs, like Mirchi's Jeeturaaj stayed put on air for a marathon session, updating listeners.
