Coldplay in Mumbai; AIB denies collaboration

MUMBAI: Mid-Day's report on Coldplay visiting India yesterday (9 September, 2015) and with plans of staying in the city for a couple of days, has made the media and fans extremely curious about the band's visit to Mumbai, India.

As per Mid-Day reports, the band is busy shooting a video in different parts of the city. While another media report suggests that Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, were seen shooting in Worli Gaon, Mumbai. They were covered in Holi colours and seen enjoying other popular Indian festivals like dahi handi and kite flying.

This is not the first time that Coldplay members have surprised fans in the country. In July this year, the band's frontman, Chris Martin paid a surprise visit to Delhi, where he gave an impromptu performance at Summer House. Interestingly, the All Indian Bakchod (AIB) team was seen posing with Martin in some pictures from that particular evening. Once again AIB has managed to grab eyeballs on Twitter with Kanan Gill (stand-up comedian) posting a tweet that mentioned AIB’s collaboration with Coldplay.

However, AIB's official Twitter handle called it untrue. They even posted a video denying the news.

Radioandmusic.com had earlier reported that Martin’s visit to Delhi could have a lot to do with Global Citizen Festival, and a number of media reports today (10 September, 2015) believe that the band's latest visit to Mumbai can be an extension to that. Only time will tell what the true story is.
