9X Media elevates Pawan Jailkhani to chief revenue officer, Punit Pandey to EVP

MUMBAI: 9X Media has elevated Pawan Jailkhani to the position of chief revenue officer and Punit Pandey to the position of executive vice-president. In his new role, Jailkhani will be responsible for all forms of revenue across the existing six music television channels (9XM, 9XM UK, 9X Tashan, 9X Jhakaas, 9X Jalwa and 9X0) operated by the 9X Media Group. He will also be in charge of revenue for all future launches by 9X Media.

The duo will release a single, to commemorate one billionth meal served by non-governmental organization Akshaya Patra. With this association, Mahadevan has also become the brand ambassador of the organization. Nightingale of India renders Nepali song

MUMBAI: Known as the Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar has enthralled listeners throughout her career with myriad melodies. Continuing her long and illustrious career at the age of 82, the melody queen has recorded a track for a Nepali movie in Mumbai. The song ‘Phool banchi phool’ is composed by Nepali composer Santosh Sharma and is crooned in Nepali language by the legend. The melody queen comprehended the Nepali words within half an hour and the song was recorded in the next couple of hours.
